We went there for dinner. The snails are good. The fried potatoes are delicious, while the steak is a bit cold when we get it. The chicken dish is cooked two different ways and served with fantastic ingredients. The waitress is friendly. Uncomfortable thing is that she forgets our requests, it’s understandable because she's very busy, but she cannot use the excuse that we did not mention it. The table outside is cold. We reserved a table at 19:00, but we were about 13 minutes late, so we didn't get the table in the room. They said the table was taken by someone else because we were late. In general, the reserved table should be kept for at least 15mins, maybe it doesn't work here.
Best restaurant I’ve been to in quite a long time. We have been traveling in Italy and France, and Franchin was wonderful. The ambiance is classic French bistro understated elegance. The food was the best part: we split the fall salad, a pumpkin purée topped with fresh spinach greens, crisp tangy apple, pomegranate, and roasted squash, lightly dresses in a lemon(? vinaigrette. The cold with hot, crunchy with smooth, was perfect. And it was so beautiful to look at, such rich colors! I had the chicken which was perfectly roasted and a large portion; my husband the sea bass. We loved everything about Franchin. Also reasonably priced (wine was pricey compared to Italy
