We only had appetizers. The service was outstanding. I was really hoping to get a nice hot caldo after getting a stomach virus on vacation, but it was not available. I guess my food review doesn't really count. I can say that the service was very warm and inviting. I'm not used to that in France. The cocktails were nice and refreshing. I would definitely give it a serving chance when I'm feeling better. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40 Parking space: Not sure Parking options: Parking is unavailable Parking: I'm not sure about the parking because we took an Uber there. To me it looks like parking is non existent based on where it's located. Kid-friendliness: Appears to be children and pet friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: I would say the restaurant itself is wheelchair friendly getting there may pose a problem with the cobblestone streets and sometimes stairs or walkways.

The foo... read more We had a surprisingly wonderful lunch at La Lupita Mexican restaurant in Nice France. I had the pork carnitas plate and my wife had the chili con carne. The food was very authentic and delicious. I was not expecting to fine authentic Mexican cuisine in France. Our waitress, Macarena, was very gracious and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed but classy, the drinks are spot on, and I have to give special mention to the “bar nuts”—they’re surprisingly addictive and the perfect snack to pair with a glass of wine or a cocktail. What set this place apart, though, was the warmth and attentiveness of the service. Leo has that rare combination of professionalism and genuine friendliness; he always remembered us, gave great recommendations, and made us feel like regulars from day one. We enjoyed it so much that we found ourselves coming back every single day of our trip. If you’re in Nice and want a welcoming bar with great drinks, delicious little bites, and unforgettable service, Bar de la Dégustation is a must-visit.
