So do not go to the nearby outdoor restaurants, go a little f... read more Living in Spain we know good tapas, but Alto surprised by 5 excellent tapas, good pizza and wines. So do not go to the nearby outdoor restaurants, go a little further and enjoy very nice food in good friendly open atmosphere. Grazie/ Gracias ???? ????????

Les desserts aussi sont un vrai plaisir, autant gustatifs que pour les yeux !Amis gourmands et connaisseurs, je vous souhaite un joli voyage en Italie ;-))

Une adresse qui sait ravir les papilles les plus exigeantes avec des tapas aux saveurs gastronomiques et une carte renouvelée chaque jour. Heureusement, la cocotte œuf à la truffe est devenue un intemporel et, surtout, un incontournable ! Quant aux pizzas, jamais mangé de pizzas aussi délicieuses : une pâte comme on n'en fait plus et des garnitures goûtues, pleines de fraîcheur. Cerise sur le gâteau, l'équipe est aux petits soins en permanence : un sens du service des plus agréables ! Courez-y, vous ne serez pas déçus !

Wide range of daily tapas freshly prepared sat alongside solid main courses. I had the egg with truffle which although looking rather basic was frankly out of this world. Others had gazpacho which was wonderful and others had squid which was rated very delicious. Main courses were pork which was beautifully presented and would have stood comparison with any leading London restaurant. The pizza range comes with bespoke oil drizzles which are outrageously spicy and dramatically presented. Tim Burton doesn't do pizza drizzles but if he did they would look like the pizza drizzles Alto do. Staff were really cheerful and friendly. The restaurant itself is slightly small and a possibly for some claustrophobic - but don't let that put you off a really first rate restaurant that is unpretentious and successfully doing something different with tapas.
