What Karen L likes about The Italian Bowl:
A great place for home-style pasta feed! They offer such a wide range of pasta aswell as veal and chicken schnitzel dishes! All dishes were incredibly generous in servings. They were freshly cooked, and was packed with flavours but my favourite dish was Mare E Mont and chicken parmigiana. Mare E Monte was not only tasty with the creamy Napolitana sauce but it came with a generous amount of King Prawns! The chicken pa... View all feedback.

read moreThe Italian Bowl in Newtown offers a crazy fast-paced environment with very loud ambiance. While the food is deemed average, it is perfect for those in a rush. The restaurant does not fit the traditional Italian stereotype, but the Ravioli dish is highly recommended. The portions are huge, and the aromas are delightful. The staff is friendly and efficient, offering uncomplicated service. The variety of pasta dishes and generous servings make it a great spot for a home-style Italian meal. The open kitchen allows guests to see the chefs in action, providing a fresh and exciting dining experience. Despite the crowded and cramped space at times, the overall value for money is excellent. If you are a pasta lover, The Italian Bowl is a must-visit in Newtown.
