What Delfina McCullough likes about Salmon & Bear:
A super snug restaurant reminiscent of a hunting cabin lodge right on King Street. Came here on a Saturday evening and was greeted with the Cosyness of this place. The food is moderately reasonably priced and the seafood were extremely fresh. The salmon stick I ordered was absolutely sublim, with different textures of crispy and subtle flavors. This place would be much better if you care about vegetarian or at least one vegetarian MAIN. My girlfriend is a vegetarian, but we can never come here because they can eat only a few pages. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant offers a charming atmosphere with a cozy hunting lodge vibe on King Street. The menu features a variety of seafood options that are fresh and reasonably priced. The Grizzly Plate, which includes grilled fish, sweet potato fries, and a sauce, is highly recommended. The Barramundi is excellent, while the salmon is decent but not exceptional. The salmon stick and mulled wine were standout items that left diners feeling satisfied and warm. Despite some minor critiques, such as the lack of vegetarian options and a disappointing visit due to closure, the overall experience is positive. With efficient service and a promising menu, this restaurant is worth a return visit.
