Pie Face Newtown

I will confess that I use Pie Face as my drunken comfort food. After a few light Pimm Shandy's & a Cooking Sherry or two at the local publican I find myself needing something to soak things up while I wait for the bus. And Pie Face is my saviour... this is not to say that Pie Face is no good during my sober times (and indeed I love their Cheese & Bacon pie just as much then) but it's their Pepper Steak Pie late at night always fixes what ails me. The staff are lovely and not one of them has kicked me out for being too drunk. I like that in a place.

You find yourself in this area - stop by this restaurant for a scrumptious meal. The vegetarian pies were amazing, my wife couldn't get enough of the brisket pie, and the apple dessert pie was both delicious and huge.

In general, it was a positive experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasing to the eye and the customer service is excellent.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of pies and sausage rolls that are delicious and satisfying. The pies are generously sized, freshly baked daily, and perfect for a cold day.
