Contribute FeedbackThe Darley Street Bistro at The Botany View Hotel has undergone a recent revamp, but unfortunately, the quality of the food has not met the standard it once had. Many customers have left feeling disappointed by bland flavors and food that does not match the menu descriptions. However, there are some positive aspects such as the new upstairs bar section. The menu has been limited to burgers and fries, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant is in need of some improvement. Despite these challenges, the Bistro still offers good value and a variety of craft beers to complement your meal. Overall, while the restaurant may have lost some of its former charm, it still has potential to provide a great dining experience if you stick to the burgers and visit during less crowded times.
So I just had the American Double Cheeseburger with mustard, ketchup and pickles. (currently available for $10, 12pm - 4pm, Monday - Friday.) It was good,
A bit fancy for bistro but real good food, my salmon skin was crispy and pink in the middle, perfect.

We went to DSB for a family birthday thinking it looked fancy on the website. The reality is that it's the dining room of a pub. Having said this, the food is delicious and if they had table service it would go up another notch. We were happy with our meal etc although it probably wasn't a great choice for our occasion.Good wine list with cloudy bay etc...
Dinner on a budget then this place has the menu for you. Great kitchen. Their burgers are the best. Made well and simple. The sitting area is upstairs away from the pub so you don't have to listen to small minded yahoos yell at some barbaric game on the tv screen.
