Description

Corelli's is a beloved institution in Newtown, offering a great coffee experience and delicious teas. The muffins are freshly made and huge, while the all-day breakfast is a must-try. The lunches are also a hit, all at reasonable prices. The service is top-notch and the staff are always very friendly and accommodating. With indoor and outdoor seating, this cozy cafe is a great spot to enjoy smoothies and tasty food. While some customers note issues with cleanliness and inconsistent service, Corelli's remains a popular choice, especially for students looking for a place to study. If you're in the area, be sure to give it a try for a warm and inviting cafe experience.

At Corelli 's, you are not God. You are merely the customer, drawn to the incredible food, fortunate enough to partake in what they have to offer. The staff have an attitude that is the opposite of 'the customer is always right ', and that 's how it should be. They 'll happily continue to serve you delicious eats if you 're not self righteous; you are not God. Deal with it. I 've been here literally hundreds of times over the last couple of years, and it 's still my favourite laid back staff or no.

Always a favourite. The service at Corelli's is notoriously terrible but thats part of its charm.Have been coming here for many years and the food and coffee are always consistent. The coffee isn't the best you can get in Newtown but since they are open till midnight every night you don't have many better options past about 8pm. The food is great for the price and there is heaps of vegetarian options. Having recently gone vegan I was surprised when I realised how little vegan there is on the menu but you can always get pasta without the cheese etc, staff all know what vegan means at least so its easy to check if something can be made vegan.Great place to chill with friends and the opening hours make it even better, the recent change to only seating more than 2 round the side if you want to sit outside is kind of annoying but I'll still be coming back plenty.

Fantastic food and coffee, the sticky date cake is in my opinion the best one in Sydney! Also love the warm chicken salad, the beef burger and the pineapple cocktail (it's actually fruit frappe)! The service is quite relax but friendly. It's the café to go on a relax Friday night for a wonderful meal or Sunday afternoon for a nice coffee and tea.

My first visit to Newtown was a delightful experience, filled with warm smiles and welcoming vibes. I enjoyed the best Soy Mocha I've ever had, which was especially comforting since I was feeling under the weather. The generous Chicken Corn soup was also a great value for the price. The lovely barista even offered me a complimentary Lemon-Ginger juice, sensing I wasn't at my best. The atmosphere was lively, with staff happily dancing to Aretha Franklin on the radio. With such a tempting menu and delicious sweet treats, I almost wished to prolong my illness just to indulge in their offerings! I ended up spending over two hours there working, eating, and enjoying the friendly company. Thank you for the warm welcome to Newtown! I can't wait to return! Xoxox

Corelli's rules. It's our favourite cafe. My housemates and I went there literally every morning for at least a year, and we still frequent it quite often. There's no friendly bullshit here the staff are normal human beings that don't flash around fake smiles to everyone and are a bit on the cynical side. Obviously, don't order any food because it doesn't look great (and the kitchen looks dodgy) although the nachos look all right and the crumble is actually really good they serve it to you heated up and with this big dollop of triple cream. The coffee is burnt half the time, but they give you tiny teddy's with with it and they're open until midnight. This place is not about the food or the coffee though. It's a Newtown staple. Overall, Corelli's is the pinnacle of freedom.
