Contribute Feedback What Thuc Nhan Tran likes about Coco Ramen:
We went to Coco Ramen and they graciously moved us to the neighboring space for a sit down spot since they were full. The service was very fast. We asked what the difference was between the broths and the waitress kindly answered. The spicy ramen bowls were very hearty and tasty and the fried oysters were all right. I would have liked maybe a little more toppings, but overall great food and experience! View all feedback.
What Lexi H doesn't like about Coco Ramen:
I have had their ramen before and it was good, but today I ordered the vegetable ramen and the noodles were complete mush and ruined the whole meal. I hope it was a one off issue but it was inedible and I had to throw it out. View all feedback.
We had the spicy miso ramen with pork and the kimchi ramen with chicken. Delicious!

Today I had a craving for ramen and decided to try a new restaurant. Found myself here and I’ll say I’m very glad I found this place. Had likely one of the best appetizers and dinner I’ve had ever for a ramen experience.Walked in this location expecting it to be a small restaurant but ended up being larger then I thought once I stepped foot in.I had started with the Pork Cha Shu Buns and ended off with the Spicy Miso Ramen with an extra addition of fried garlic. The Pork Cha Shu Buns. The light and airy buns that had a sweetness to it that was definitely unexpected. The thin cut pork provide a great flavor and have slight fatty bit in it that definitely helps the thin cuts. The carrot and cilantro sliced into a slices and add a crunch to such a delicious bun. To top it off it’s given a soft glaze of a teriyaki and siracha sauce that bring the whole dish today for the perfect bite every time.Next we had the Pork Cha Shu Ramen with Fried Garlic. A simple yet savory broth that was a godsend. The fried garlic playfully adding its own tastes and crunches that I didn’t think was possible to be all together. Then we have the noodles, a soft yet bouncy chew to it that had wood ear mushrooms hiding in between the strands of noodle. The menma(bamboo shoots), a slight crunch texture but also provides a savory flavor that wasn’t expected. The pork then joining in with a lovely char in addition to such an elegant broth. Thinly sliced and perfectly layered on top of the dish to show off what they chefs view of what near perfection should be.After all this comes the sold boiled marinated egg that penetrates every atom of the yolk and whites. The sweetness that comes from this was something I’ve never had before and I would return begging for extra after what this gave me as a punch of flavor.Mixing all of this together in a single bite is something I didn’t think I would accomplish but let me tell you I’ve never tasted anything better but this.I’d recommend anyone that wants to give this dish a try then they must come here for this first time. Nothing will beat it. I promise
Excellent ramen (I get the spicy miso ramen), friendly service, quiet place (at least for late lunches, when I go). What's not to like?Parking: There is paid street parking all around Newton Centre, as well as a paid central lot and paid lots behind some of the main areas of stores. Street parking right in front can be hard to find.
