Premier Inn Durham (newton Aycliffe)

I stayed at an older Premier Inn that still uses keys instead of cards. Despite this, the room was clean and warm, and the staff were friendly. However, because of the older building, noise from the room above was easily heard, especially when they were stomping around at 2am. The breakfast at the restaurant opposite wasn't great, with some items overcooked and others undercooked. However, the pastries and yogurt were enjoyable. Overall, it was just a one-night stay for work, so I can't complain too much. I would give the rooms a rating of 4 out of 5.

The front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooms were excellent, the service was outstanding, and the location was perfect. Highlights of the hotel included its peaceful atmosphere, great value, and modern technology.

We were guests here for four days. Unfortunately not satisfied. Loud towards the street. Room service only upon request, but is not communicated to you at check-in. The carpet has been disposed of for years. Hallway mostly dirty. Shower only has a little water. However, the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms: 1 Service: 2 Location: 1
