I invited two friends to a late mid afternoon roast lunch at the Greyhound Inn at Old Hill Crescent. Sad to say, the meal tasted like a school dinner; the vegetables were over cooked and the meat was tasteless. The pub used to be the family’s ‘top ten’ but not any more. We will not be returning. The pub has a great atmosphere and staff are helpful and friendly. The food is excellent. I had the fillet steak, which was superb. The Peppercorn sauce is without question the best Well done to the chef View all feedback.
