The pub has a great atmosphere and staff are helpful and friendly. The food is excellent. I had the fillet steak, which was superb. The Peppercorn sauce is without question the best Well done to the chef View all feedback.

I invited two friends to a late mid afternoon roast lunch at the Greyhound Inn at Old Hill Crescent. Sad to say, the meal tasted like a school dinner; the vegetables were over cooked and the meat was tasteless. The pub used to be the family’s ‘top ten’ but not any more. We will not be returning. However the weekend meals are much better. View all feedback.
Great food and service. Polite and helpful staff ordered me a taxi as I am visually impaired and buses are infrequent (only 2-hourly). Only complaint is background music : Rap and Hip-Hip do NOT suit the more-elderly Demographic who frequent this pub. PLEASE change it, Greyhound!
The Sunday lunch at this restaurant was delicious, with homemade, fresh and generous portions. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing excellent service. I would highly recommend this place.
This is a great place to visit, whether you're looking for a drink or a meal. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are attentive. After your meal, you can relax in the fantastic beer garden, which is a perfect sun spot. This place has everything, including access to Sky Sports.
