Google recommended this spot, which took us... read more On our travels back home to the Coachella Valley from Springfield, Oregon, we needed some good food to get us home. Google recommended this spot, which took us down a nice detour through farmland, then to this charming small town of Newman... and, man, The Grille was worth it!The staff was super friendly, the outdoor seating area was lovely and perfect as we had our furrbaby with us. Now, the only thing that outshines the friendly waitresses, how accommodating it was and charm was what we came here for... THE FOOD!The coffee was much better than your standard diner, I got the daily special which was the Santa Fe Omelette that had a delicious chipotle sauce with a perfect kick, with bacon, advocados and yummy peppery goodness in the middle. I ordered biscuits and gravy on the side, also yummy! Biscuits were fluffy.My wife ordered a breakfast burger , both the meat and egg were cooked to perfection.This spot and town might be worth driving 400 miles to visit.In the area? Come here.
