eat pretty good. amazing revolutionary posters and works of art on the walls. I especially like the poster of the enjoyed mao zedong. the atmosphere, the decor and the works of art are very impressed by china, which is not too common in Chinese restaurants in newcastle. they also make Chinese beer, which is cool. Food was less than average. Not hot. Got food served before plates. Plates for starters were expected to be the same as for mains they didn’t give clean ones. Went to toilets and was Shocked at the state of the place. Stains on floor and ceilings. Never ever again will I darken these doors terrible!!! Nice, tasty foods but a bit too spicy for me. Would love to be back again to try another delicious dishes
Half of our starter was missing. My daughters chips were brought out after we had finished our mains. Crab meat soup was actually crab sticks! To top it off we paid the bill and left only then to be chased along the street by a waiter saying the bill was wrong and we had to go back in as they hadn’t included the drinks!
My wife and I had a delicious assortment of Chinese dishes. Every dish was excellent and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
