This was our Valentine's Day dinner. Everything went well, great company, excellent food and service. It’s not a huge menu; but there is enough variety to find something. For those who care there are 2 washrooms that are gender neutral. I don't know why any negative reviews; this is our second visit and we're very particular about our seafood. NO COMPLAINTS here. For a starter we had a clams oregenata; an actual clam in a delicious sauce. Perfectly cooked and executed. I tried the sole francaise with a potato croquet and broccoli. Both the sole and potato were amazing. Hot, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I'm not a broccoli fan, so I can't comment on the vegetable. Although the size of the fillet was closer to the size of a flounder fillet. It was still toothsome morsel. I've caught and cleaned enough of both, but nevertheless it wasn't over cooked. She had the seared sea scallops. Not even a Michelin star celebrity chef would have a complaint with the way they were prepared. The portions are just enough and the flavors complimentary. The margarita wasn't boozy, too sweet, or unbalanced. It was a sipping drink that went down smoothly. She thoroughly enjoyed her **** Mary. It too, was just right. The espresso had actual schiuma! You need a machine for that. I just can't believe this restaurant isn't on coast; where really fresh seafood is always available and the patrons are used to exceptional seafood prepared and served to perfection. That's why the five star rating; if I could give an extra star I would.
