I can see why it's... read more We arrived a bit early, before the dinner rush. By the time we left at 6:30, the restaurant was completely packed, even on a Thursday night. I can see why it's so popular! The food was delicious and abundant, the service was excellent and attentive, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.

I normally leave reviews to my wife but felt strongly enough to do this: The food was excellent, the portions were large, and the staff was very pleasant, professional and always available to us.The dress code was a little better than casual so we were able to walk in off the street. We did not make a reservation yet wewere seated immediately by a friendly greeter. Thank you Vesuvios, we will see you soon!

I ordered the stuffed sole, which arrived slightly cool—not cold, but I assumed it was because it had been prepared before the other five people in our group. I thought I could heat it up for lunch today, but I was quite disappointed. The stuffing was filled with scales—far more than just a few scattered ones; there were so many that it ruined the dish for me. The mashed potatoes I ordered were also very bland. I didn't mention anything to our waitress, who was incredibly nice, as I didn’t want to spoil our celebration. I also noticed that the woman cleaning the tables kept coming over to see if my friend had finished her meal, even though she was still eating. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and it was around 7 PM on a Sunday. We will come back, but I certainly won’t be ordering the fish again. Overall, I was disappointed because I had been looking forward to a wonderful meal and ended up feeling let down. I’m hoping it was just an off night.

Next, the mozzarella fries were served, and they were perfection: incredibly cheesy, and you could tell they used top-quality cheese. I ordered a steak that came with a side of penne, and both dishes were not just visually appealing but also extremely satisfying. I decided to treat myself to dessert, and I was thrilled with my choice! The lava cake was everything you could wish for. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

However, some family members felt a bit rushed because the servers started clearing plates while they were still eating. I ended up having to apologize on behalf of the restaurant, which was quite embarrassing for me, especially since I had just celebrated my birthday a few weeks ago. Moving forward, we might choose to order takeout instead. This is the first time we've experienced such an issue. I understand that restaurants need to turn tables quickly, but we were only there for about an hour. I really dislike feeling rushed as a paying customer. While I know such situations can happen occasionally, it doesn't feel good when my family members don’t feel welcome. This puts me in a difficult position when it comes to providing positive feedback. I will reconsider my rating if I see improvements.
