Expectations were high since a friend had recommended Redd's Biergarten as a place to go for Octoberfest, however ended up having a pretty bad experience at Red... read more Expectations were high since a friend had recommended Redd's Biergarten as a place to go for Octoberfest, however ended up having a pretty bad experience at Redd's Biergarten. Not knowing how busy a Saturday evening/night would be I called ahead tomake reservations for a table of 10. I actually called twice, first for an 8pm, and then changed it to 9pm. When my friends andI arrived, the staff told us that there were no reservations and that the kitchen was closed at 9pm. I had specificallymentioned that we were going for dinner. Had I known that the kitchen was closing at 9pm, I would've made other plans. When Ichecked with the staff regarding the reservations, they started to insinuate that I had called another place, however I did showthem that I did in fact call the right place twice and they confirmed that I had the right number. Seems like they completelyignored the reservation. When we arrived, the place was completely empty and there was no issue finding a table. While waitingto try to decide how/where to get a place to eat, no staff came to the table or even asked us if we wanted anything todrink. Completely awful experience, definitely not recommended.
