The vegetable paella, bacalao, and flan are all excellent
Food was great. It was only loud because there was a Spanish Guitar band and a flamenco dancer. They were very good but it made it a bit hard to talk. I think they have different bands one night a week. Would definitely go back
I had received many recommendations for restaurants in the Iron Bound section but stumbled on this in Trip Advisor. I really didn't want a typical big SpanishPortuguese meal before a show at the Prudential Center so this sounded appealing to me. My date and I were so glad we took a chance on this place!!! At first we were seated in the front area which was loud but with a great Saturday night vibe. But then I discovered a quaint covered patio area in the back and they quickly and pleasantly moved us out there. From the moment we walked in we felt extremely welcomed. Rachel was our server and she gave us great advice and was prompt with the service. The sangria was delicious and not loaded with ice. We had rounds of tapas, all were very tasty and I look forward to going back and trying other dishes!! We were able to get in and out of there, not feeling rushed... or stuffed!!!! And walked up to the Pru Center for our concert. They do have larger dishes for those who want that and I will most likely return for that as well on a night when I am not going to a show. Give this place a try! You won't regret it
Tasty drinks, their bread and salsa (free) was delicious, and the flatbread was so flavorful. Coffee and desert (flan) was the perfect way to end our midday snack. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and helpful but have us privacybetween checking in on us. I would recommend if you are near Newark Penn Station!
