I had the pre-fixe... read more The atmosphere, eating and service were top notch. this is a very well managed and beautiful restaurant and a hidden gem in the city newark. I had the pre-fixe pre-theater menu with a crab cake starter with fresh crumb meat and a beside salad, the garlic shrimp and dessert a Lemon orange mousse. everything was presented and served perfectly. the service was friendly, without being overwhelming, and both the hostess and the waiters were very patient with a witnessed theater crowd. it has all components, a beautiful restaurant with wonderful eating and great service.

We had here a great meal before a show in pac. this restaurant is quiet and challenging, a great place for a special date. good selection of dining options in t... read more We had here a great meal before a show in pac. this restaurant is quiet and challenging, a great place for a special date. good selection of dining options in the menu. the plates we ordered were crafted. our waiter even helped us save a dollar by sharing an salate. the libation was generous and belonged to many offered, none of whom came to us, as some places do. I don't understand that some reviewers were here and on yelp with this restaurant. our dinner would not have been better. I'm looking for a reason to go back. all with steps of pac, which is great. Unfortunately there are no many numbers of gastronomic joys within few blocks of pac. maize is a standout.

I had the grilled tilapia and shrimp over mashed potatoes. My friend had the shrimp coctail and cheesy fries. All delicious. We asked to speak with the chef because we were trying to figure out some of the ingredients because it was THAT good. She came out. Had a nice time discussing the food. I highly recommend this place. We went on a Friday night. I would absolutely go here again
