Contribute FeedbackYara is a Lebanese restaurant that has received mixed reviews from customers. While some have experienced rude staff, long wait times, and overpriced dishes, others have praised the authentic and delicious food, as well as the friendly service. The restaurant offers a taste of traditional Lebanese cuisine, with standout dishes like kibbeh nayeh, labneh, baba ganoush, and grilled salmon. While some customers have had disappointing experiences with slow service and cold food, others have found Yara to be a cut above most Mediterranean restaurants in terms of quality. Overall, Yara seems to be a hit-or-miss dining experience for customers.
This place is much better than appear from its website. it serves Mediterranean food in a refined environment (clamp serviettes, elegant decor, etc. there are many vegan options; Although there is only one vegan option for the huge plates, there is more than enough to eat here. the eating is delicious much better than the typical felafel and hummus place. Although they can spend a lot of money here, they can also fill a simple meal for under $15. on the negative side, this place serves lamb - one of the food on the happy cow forbidden lists, so that those who find this disturbing could understandably avoid this place. due to the large number of vegan excellent options, I feel that this place could be listed on happy cow legally, especially as there are few other elegant vegan options places in the immediate environment. updated by previous review on 2019-11-26
Very good service and food quality, will definitely go back again.
I usually do not like to leave negative comments because it is already very difficult for the restaurant business, but I feel compelled to share our experience: we went to lunch and chose the grilled salmon as the main dish and it was terrible, bad quality, burned in a place and certainly not the price of $36.00 Also the Kenafa Desert was the worst we ever had in NYC. The only positive comment I have is on our server Mauricio, which was by itself, but was efficient in view of the size of the restaurant and the number of cartridges. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll give Yara another chance.
Among the best Lebanese or Mediterranean restaurants in Manhattan with fresh ingredients and authentic preparation including meals usually only found in the regional home kitchen.
The food was very good. Nice portions. Good wine collection service was slow, possibly due to busy Saturday night.
