This has been one of the best restaurants I've visited around the world. The service was outstanding (Tomo is incredibly skilled), the food was absolutely creative, and the atmosphere was delightful. This place is a hidden gem! I was looking for a unique food experience and this place definitely hit the spot. I loved the food and how the staff interacted with us and took the time to explain what we were eating. Had a great dining experience at this restaurant. Everything was done in perfection and the attention to detail was unsurpassed. The set menu was very well planned out and executed and the fried courses did not feel heavy at all. The chef took care to introduce every dish and was very informative. It was a rainy night so we did not get to go to the backyard to enjoy the dessert courses so hopefully next time as I will definitely go back.

To date, this has been one of the best restaurants I have visited worldwide. The service was impeccable (Tomo is super ingenious), the food was totally ingenious, and the best of all the atmosphere was drivable. If you are looking for an add-on to your typical Omakasen experience, visit Yamada Chikara. I will return for what I expect to be another great culinary experience!
