We were in Times Square during our visit to New York, and a friend introduced us to this neighborhood. After exploring, we really needed a break, and stopping here felt like an oasis. The staff was fantastic, and the food was excellent. We will definitely return when we're in the area again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Upper East Café:
A few months ago, I stopped here for a quick bite, expecting nothing special—just a decent dinner. I ordered a burger and a milkshake, and neither was worth it. My friend had a salad with blueberries and a dirty martini. The blueberries were moldy, and the drink was awful. We sent the food back and left. Naturally, I won't be coming back. View all feedback.
UEC used to be one of my local go to spots for a a casual bite. But not any more. Prices have recently increased to the “it’s not worth it” range. $31 for a piece of farm raised Salomon and $28 chicken parm is overpriced for this cafe. Recent visit the cafe was very loud with a rowdy party table near the bar. This combined with the over priced dishes has sent me in search of a new local spot.
Their chocolate chip pancakes are very good. It was very mouthwatering and tasteful.
Very nice place to have an informal lunch or dinner. we have come back many times.
Nice place on the Upper East Side for brunch or a casual dinner. Service is quick and food is tasty and attractive, although portions are not huge. Our favorite place in this neighborhood!
Service was sluggish. Food delicious. French fries and curly fries Not warm or well done as we requested.
