Contribute FeedbackDespite a mix of positive and negative feedback, it seems that Uncle Jack's in NYC is a popular choice for steak lovers. While some guests had issues with the service and closure of the restaurant, others raved about the delicious food and top-notch service. The ambiance was also noted as comfortable and welcoming. Overall, it appears that Uncle Jack's is a hit for those looking for a tasty steak in a friendly environment.
Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere. Excellent service and food. My filet mignon melted in my mouth. Definitely will be back when I return to NY.
Requested a table and not a booth. Hostess advised our requested table was “reserved”. Not sure how that happens, but ok. She was rude and indifferent to our requests for a traditional table and not a bench seat. Place was 10% occupied from 5:00 pm til we left at 6:30. Prime steak was dry and grainey. Slee go there regularly before hockey games. 3rd time now with same poor experience. Friends of us got here often and we’re all pretty much over it and will likely find a new pre game location. Clearly, they have lost there way! Note: they would not take our appetizer order unless we ordered our entire meal at the same time? Sounds like a chain Resturant! I’d love to know if Jack thinks this is customer service of a fine steak house???
The food and service were excellent. The steaks were tender and cooked perfectly.
Experience was good, the wedge salad was excellent. We got the burgers before the Garden concert and they were real good. My only suggestion is to have 4 to 6 beers on tap, they only had bottles. Service was great!
This is not an inexpensive place for dinner, but if you want a truly fine steak, there is none better,
