One drawback was that even though we had a reservation for 6pm, we were not seated until 6:25 because they were setting up downstairs. Furthermore, they stopped serving us promptly at 7:30, which was disappointing. It may be beneficial for them to either reduce the happy hour to an hour or begin it at 6:30 to prevent this problem. However, despite these issues, the promotion is still good and definitely worth experiencing.

The Happy Hour special at The Poni Room offers two small snacks for two people to share. The main focus is on rosé wine, so it may not be the ideal spot for those seeking a substantial meal. The wine is served in water glasses and comes from a tap. The restaurant is located underground and during happy hour, there were only a few other patrons. Personally, I would not choose to dine there again.

Seems designed for bridal showers and hen parties. Definitely style over substance, which isn't really my scene. NOT a Izakaya, more like a Japanese fusion place but...sadder?

Pros: The happy hour deal is amazing. for self serve rose on tap and kitchen snacks that were pretty substantial. They served edamame, chips and fried seaweed. It was pretty empty and quiet, I'm not sure if many people know about the place yet. The waitress was really informative and attentive Con: The downfall was our reservation was for (happy hour deal is We got there on time and were told they were waiting for things to be setup downstairs. They didn't seat us until and then cut us off right at so that was pretty disappointing. Other than that, it's still a great deal they should just either change to hour or move to instead of right when they open.
