Contribute FeedbackShinagawa restaurant in NYC offers decent food but falls short on service efficiency. Despite the casual ambiance, some diners felt mistreated at first. However, others had a more positive experience, enjoying excellent food and attentive service. The sushi and sashimi were highlights, served in traditional style with fresh fish. The quiet spot is worth a visit for the quality of the sushi alone. Overall, opinions vary on Shinagawa, making it a hit or miss dining option in the city.
We love the fresh sushi and beautiful presentation at this restaurant! It's now our go-to spot for delicious sushi in the area.
I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant and the food was delicious. I dined with another woman and were initially seated at a less desirable table (despite the restaurant being mostly empty). After requesting a booth table, we were promptly moved and had a pleasant experience. It's important to remember that all guests should be treated equally, regardless of gender. It's disheartening that there is still a belief that women deserve less than men. As we left, we noticed that the restaurant was only half full, so there was no need for the initial less than ideal seating.
Excellent sushi, rolls, ginger dressing, and miso soup! Everything I have ever ordered is good quality, lunch specials are great deals!
The food at this restaurant is excellent, surpassing most Japanese restaurants in the area. The ambiance is pleasant and the service is good.
Good fresh sushi, beautiful presentation! It has become our favorite local sushi place
