Scottys Diner - New York

Average diner food with excellent service. I have eaten in and taken out when craving classic greasy-spoon dishes. It may not be anything out of this world, but it definitely satisfies when you're in the mood for a decent diner meal in the Murray Hill/Grand Central area. The counter staff is very friendly and engaging, making the wait enjoyable.

We were suggested to try out Scotty's by the concierge at our hotel, and we are so glad we did. Scotty's is a classic American diner with excellent breakfast options. We would definitely return if we find ourselves in New York again. Highly recommend checking it out.

I visited this restaurant with a group of my friends for an early breakfast and I can confidently say that it exceeded my expectations. I ordered the deluxe pancake and it was delicious. The bacon was perfectly crispy, the eggs were cooked to perfection, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Awesome diner! Not the prettiest or coziest but the food was great. We were 4 at a table and couldn't move. Eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection, yummy hashed potatoes, tasty veggie omelet and massive pancakes. The eggs benedict were amazing! Service was decent. Great choice and prices were good. For 4 people we paid $50! We got our food within 5-7 minutes of ordering.

The feeing of being transported back to 80s... the kind of diner you see in movies... the 24 hour service... option to enjoy breakfast any time of the day so that you can munch on waffle, pancakes, French toast, omelette etc... with hot chocolate and everything, believe me when I say everything tastes fantastic... what else will you call heaven
