Amazing German spot in midtown Manhattan.!!It is the largest indoors Biergarten in NYC. You can find a great variety of German beer and delicious food. Service is outstanding. Jack will suggest exactly the beer that you are looking for. He is really knowledgeable and fun. The whole team is really nice and welcoming, I came back 2 times during my visit to NYC. I definitely recommend this place to beer lovers and can't... View all feedback.
What Bert Lehner doesn't like about Reichenbach Hall:
Very strange greeting, told kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and server was leaving and could go to order food at bar and maybe be able to take food to a table, very abrupt and not welcoming at all. Person at bar was completely different, she told us to go to a table and she would serve us which she did and was very nice. Food was average and there was no atmosphere View all feedback.
Great German beer garden. Their German potato salad is the best I have ever tasted.
The pretzel was amazing. The mustard was quite spicy. A great side with the beer.
We have gone twice. The first time was good, especially the schnitzel. A few months later we decided to go back and were very disappointed with the thick and soggy schnitzel we got. The service was competent and helpful with things like ordering off-menu sides of red cabbage and with beer refills though some of the waitresses seemed they wanted to be anywhere but there. Unfortunately the disappointing food means we won’t be back, especially with so many other good options available.
Yhe best German food I've had since leaving Germany.
Classic German food! Really liked the food and cider but our server was insanely rude and unwelcoming so bit disappointing
