I wanted to escape the Herald Square crowd and managed to find this gem in the process. What first strikes you about this place is how aesthetically beautiful it is. The atmosphere at the restaurant was a bit odd, with few customers until 7:30pm and an abundance of staff on the floor. Situated next to a hotel, it attracted many patrons holding business meetings or working on laptops. The music could have been more lively to improve the subdued ambiance. Kale salate with avocado, carrots, garnet apple seeds with perfectly boiled chicken. so tasteful. I'm trying to revise it at home, but not the same. my coworkers had other salates that were just as good. we are until there was no more. esdy business talk place. not loud as others.
The ambiente was a bit strange, the restaurant was almost completely empty until 7:30 clock and it seemed too many employees on the floor. as there are many patrons in business meetings and working on their laptops right next to a hotel, music could be more interesting to fill some of the rest. Eating was ok, ordered the steak medium rare, but it was moderately good. restaurant was sufficient, the best part is its location.
My 2nd visit here. Stuck with the same meal i had the last time. Mussels. They are excellent. The fries that joins then are great. .
Christmas Eve and staying in hotel that connects. Everything about our experience was exceptional. They had a special holiday menu. Our waiter was very helpful
Overpriced for mediocre food. we ordered the smoked salmon with cream cheese on a bagel and the menu had also listed that it came with capers. When we asked about the absence of the capers, the server came back and said that they had run out. No apology. No offer of anything else.
