Le Singe Vert - New York

I 'm a big fan of French food (all food actually) and on this particular day I was craving a Croque Madame one of my favourite sandwiches! The one from here was great, a little on the 'lighter ' side, with less bechamel sauce than I 'm used to, but it was still very delicious. The service here was also very good. IG: @easty_eats

I have dined here over and over again for more than 10 years. Outside with a glass of wine watching the world go by, inside on a cold winter night with lovely simply but well prepared food. There is a reason they are still around and it has everything to do with people who care…..

Classic French Bistro for both food and atmosphere. A friend and I enjoyed a very pleasant lunch at Le Singe.

Food is still delicious and staff are great but be careful about prices. The menu on Google and on their web site is not the real menu. The actual prices are about 50% higher than on the web site.

I used to love the place. At one time they had great burgers. Unfortunately, some of their staff seems to forget about basic manners. Like don't touch your gross beard in front of people who just sat down. It's so gross that it's embarrassing to even have to write. How about don't touch your face etc and then attempt to serve food.
