We had a lovely meal here yesterday. Everything was delicious I had the mahi mahi and my husband had the steak frites, and we shared the duck spring rolls and crab cake. The staff were so attentive and accommodating. we were the last table seated and they did not make us feel rushed at all. Rather they made a point to make our meal special as it was my birthday. We will definitely be back! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Charlot:
Tartare was not fresh, there was a coiled pink wire in the tartare so we sent it back to the kitchen. $19 for Caesar salad (not a French dish if you didn?t already know) which is just romaine and 5 croutons is overpriced. The Parmesan was not even shaved just one thin slice on top... there were also stains on the tablecloth and on my napkin... very disappointing to say the least View all feedback.
Yesterday, we had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The mahi mahi and steak frites were delicious, and we also enjoyed the duck spring rolls and crab cake. The staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating, making sure our meal felt special as it was my birthday. Despite being the last table seated, we never felt rushed. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
The tartare was not fresh and contained a coiled pink wire, so we returned it to the kitchen. The Caesar salad, priced at $19, consisted of just romaine lettuce and five croutons, which is overpriced for what it is. The Parmesan cheese was only a thin slice on top, not even shaved. Additionally, there were stains on the tablecloth and my napkin. Overall, the experience was very disappointing.
Excellent food and service. Simple, fresh and delicious. We need more gems like this.Food: 5/5
This restaurant is just bad. Service is ok and the ambiance is ok but the food is just sub par. I had the halibut and it was dry and tasteless. My wife had salmon which was really awful. Her rice was dry. We won't return ever.
Nice quiet street with welcoming alfresco tables out the front. The venue is crammed but comfortable. The food is good quality and reasonably priced, but the water is expensive. Staff added 25%tip and circled total amount on the bill too. This aside, I'd comfortably return. It had a good feel. Oh, the chocolate mousse tasted more of sugar than cocoa balance slightly out but how could we complain at Easter. Thank you.
