I cannot recommend this place enough. My friends and I had the most lovely, thoughtful and delicious meal! One of the first Michelin starred meals where I left full and would definitely return again just to see what other seasonal menus they had to offer! Our sake was delicious and the service was top notch! My friends and I are not vegans but thoroughly enjoyed this meal! View all feedback.
What Ezequiel Schinner doesn't like about Kajitsu:
Spent $700 on food only to find half of the food inedible. Too many flavors and textures or extremely basic. One course was simply a boiled tomato with ice! Not worth the price tag View all feedback.
Hiroki doesn’t just make food, he writes stories with his food. The May Omakase was just outstanding. I can list an itemized sequence of the food we ate but that’s almost beyond the point. It was an enchanting narrative from start to finish- embracing locavore sourcing, Shojin Ryori practices and truly inventive global cuisine (Pistachio Miso!? all in a setting that felt like a friends home at the bar seating. Special shout out to the entire staff who help create an incredible atmosphere. Grateful to dine here and I hope you do too.
This was one of the best tasting menus I have ever had. Each dish was creative, thoughtful, and tasted delicious! My favorites were the green onion broth and seasonal vegetables. Service was impeccable, and timing of the dishes was great. Would definitely return here.
Great experience! Vegan menu with a feeling of Japan!
I am not a vegan, i really like meat just look at my reviews i spend half of my money on sushi. Too expensive to frequent, but well worth it as a once-in-a-lifetime meal.
It’s an experience for sure. I didn’t find most dishes to be too appetizing, but overall a unique night.
