This restaurant is really terrible. I paid $65 for the worst pizza, pasta, and salad I've ever had in New York. I used to come here for slices often before the pandemic, but something has changed. The pizza was so chewy that it was hard to eat and the cheese was clumpy. The mixed-green salad was just basic supermarket lettuce. Yes the pizza here is delicious and it's very fast and friendly service too. But what makes Freddie Peppers special is the Chilean touch! Authentic, DELICIOUS Chilean empanadas. These ain't the fried dough with meat that most every other empanada spot sells. Chilean empanadas are baked.
