Solid bar with solid food. Went here for the jets game on a Sunday afternoon (4pm games). Small crowd. Mostly older folks. Lowkey. Not loud.I didnt love the cocktails. 4 out of 7 options have coffee or espresso not always a bad thing but its like 5/6pm and Im not looking for that. The mule wasnt my favorite. The cocoa bomb was great.I got the Jalapeño mango wings and they were not hot. Definitely sweet. 10 medium siz... View all feedback.
What D B doesn't like about Doc Watson's:
The food and drinks were disappointing, but the service was even worse. The waitresses were incredibly rude, and we overheard two of them laughing at us and other customers in our area. Our server only approached our table when we called her over, which is unacceptable. This was some of the worst service I've ever experienced. There are too many excellent bars and restaurants on the Upper East Side to waste your time... View all feedback.
Great weekend brunch with 2 drinks. American breakfast and 2 **** Mary. Ask for table seating at the back.
Classic UES bar/pub/quality burger joint. Can't find a better pint of Guinness in NYC !
Cool Irish bar in Manhattan. I had their Irish breakfast and it reminded me of Ireland. Great jobWaitress was friendly and talkative great customer service.Wish I had more time to hang out in New York
Have not been here in about 15 years, and it brought back a lot of feels. Sat on the patio which Im not sure still exists at the time of this review, but was nice to sit outside and enjoy a beer on the streets of NY. Mix of local NY beers and regs beers. Good bar food, albeit greasy, but wasn't mad about it.
The Shepard's Pie had little meat in it. Its barely noticeable meat was in the beef juice underneath the mashed potatoes and vegetables. Although it was tasty, I felt that it offered poor value for the $23 price tax and tip.
