What Food Nomad likes about Decibel:
I have many fond memories of Decibel (let's not talk about setting fire to the table) and if you're ever looking for a little nook to enjoy some good drinking and company on the Lower East Side, you should try to stumble into this place. View all feedback. What Meghna S doesn't like about Decibel:
This restaurant has a super cool vibe with a unique, mysterious basement atmosphere. The seating can be a bit cramped, especially for smaller groups. They offer a great selection of sake, and we tried the nigori which came in a small bucket carafe. While I missed having ceramic ware, the unique presentation was a nice touch. read moreDecibel is a unique and mysterious restaurant with a cool basement vibe, offering a great selection of sake served in a creative presentation. Despite concerns about cleanliness and hygiene levels, the restaurant has a fun overall vibe. Some customers have noted rude and pushy waiters but appreciate the authentic Japanese izakaya experience. The restaurant is often crowded and loud, with close seating and speedy service. The extensive sake menu and delicious plates make it a great spot for those looking for an izakaya experience in NYC. Overall, Decibel offers a different and quirky dining experience worth trying.
