the chop shop restaurants (both i and ii) are some of my favorite places to eat in all nyc. eating is always excellent and theny emerman really knows how to compile a great restaurant from eating to decor to the entire experience. View all feedback.
What Lucas Schimmel doesn't like about Chop-Shop:
Had dinner at this place liked the ambiance. Food is just average-everyday-lunch-place meal. I ordered a Lychees Spritz and it came in a tiny prosecco flute. Not quite appropriate quantity nor glass. The waitress was very nice and attentive though. View all feedback.
We have gedimt here several times and always enjoy dinner. we love very spicy eating and we thought the cold solitary noodles were too sharp. the fish was beautiful, but was a very small part. but overall we really enjoyed eating. the sitting area is very crowded and the diner next to us has many, many paints fenced in and has not complied with the protocol so that we felt uncomfortable. Nevertheless we had a nice dinner before we visited a nearby museum.

Fabulous minimalist environment. rest. contempt. interesting menu. and consistently very, very good eating. did I say calm?
We really enjoyed our time. while sitting places are typical for a restaurant in new york, where they are almost arcuate with their neighbors, it has not distracted from our experience! all we have ordered was delicious and well prepared. the service was friendly and the music was funny. I also loved the spicy passion fruit drink I had. we're going back there.
Don't go there hungry. Portions are extremely small. Must order a few things to share.
