What C doesn't like about Boqueria:
Eh. Not impressed. I came here after reading all the great reviews and the food was nothing to rave about. Maybe I’ll try something else next time. But the food I got was not that great. Portions were very small. Patatas Bravas was completely burnt to a crisp. If you are looking for a good Spanish restaurant, I would go elsewhere. There are many other great ones in NYC. Also, seating was very very tight. At one point... View all feedback. What m likes about Boqueria:
Amazing, as always! The service was excellent, friendly, and attentive. The food was perfectly prepared— the churros were a bit over cooked— but everyone is entitled to an off day. Just a consistently good restaurant- a must try! View all feedback.

read moreFor those looking for a good Spanish restaurant in NYC, Boqueria may not be the best choice. Reviewers mentioned small portions, burnt dishes, slow service, and uncomfortable seating. The prices were also considered high compared to the portion sizes. However, others praised the cozy atmosphere, great service, and delicious food with properly cooked seafood and well-seasoned dishes. Some diners enjoyed the unique experience of watching the kitchen staff prepare the meals and interact with the executive chef. Overall, opinions on Boqueria seem mixed, with some enjoying the experience while others found it lacking in various aspects.
