What Gilbert Doubleday doesn't like about The Milk:
Ordered the chicken parmesan and a milkshake. Chicken was not parmesan (breaded, fried). Just sliced chicken. I could do this at home but would not deceive myself call it parmesan because there is no cooking involved. Only heating in an oven. Chocolate banana milkshake tasted like chocolate only. Good sandwiches! Shrimply the best. Roast Lamb po-boy and cheese tomatoes and spinach croissant.
This is the best lunch place in Uptown!!! I used to work next door and I'd get it every day, and now I'm going out to eat there. Staff are always so nice and fantastic to speak.
Perfect little lunch place! The service was great. I feel like the seats are quite limited, based on how popular this place seems to be. There's some foot traffic in there. Your sandwiches are so delicious! Perfectly filled and toast. I also had a chocolate banana milkshake and it was divine! I don't live too far from here, so this definitely becomes one of my usual spots. I look forward to my next visit and I will update this review with special sandwich recommendations next time.
Been going here for years. Absolutely recommend! The Christmas in July sandwich is the only thing I get, and it never disappoints. Strawberry milkshake is also super super good.
