What Brenton likes about Sac-a-Lait:
Great local craft beer selection and creative craft cocktails to go with some of the usuals. Charbroiled oysters were excellent, as was the venison backstrap, which was seasoned perfectly and cooked to rare. View all feedback. What CraigP doesn't like about Sac-a-Lait:
The menu is not very accommodating. I understand that it is a fancy restaurant, but paying $30 for a baked drumstick served over collard greens with a small portion of mashed potatoes is excessive. View all feedback.

read moreSac-A-Lait in New Orleans is consistently praised for its top-notch food and friendly service. With a menu that changes frequently, some favorites may be missed, but the quality remains high. Despite a limited menu, the dishes are well-executed, especially the charbroiled oysters and venison backstrap. The ambiance is lovely, and the craft beer selection and cocktails are praised. While some reviewers felt the service could be improved, overall, the dining experience is memorable and worth a return visit. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Sac-A-Lait promises a delicious meal and welcoming atmosphere that won't disappoint.
