Location is perfect. You feel really safe in the area and you’re by lots of restaurants and the super dome and smoothie king centre. Our room was huge and clean. The duvet did have a stain and we asked for it to be replaced which it was replaced but the second one also had a stain but third time was a charm. Stains looked like blood so we were adamant on wanting them changed.Staff is really friendly. I’d book here aga... View all feedback.
What KLAEmore doesn't like about Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette French Quarter Area:
I can deal with a lot at hotels, I've stayed in small rooms, I've shared with cousins and have slept on an air mattress before that does not scare me.Front desk was OK the door ma. Was polite and so was the sweet lady at the bar.The one thing I cannot let go is the THEFT from housekeeping.my bag was with me the entire time and the only time it was left alone was in my room, they stole a red NIXON watch from my bag th... Worst service I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. Completely incompetent room service folks who put the phone down to chat with others while I was on the line and made me call several times to confirm the order. Had a similar experience where I got left on hold by the front desk for a lost item, and I rushed back to the hotel to find they hadn’t done anything. Regardless the rooms, I paid for two upgrades for a bigger room and French quarter view, but I can’t imagine a smaller room or a worse view.

Was polite and so was the sweet lady at the bar.The one thing I cannot let go is the THEFT from housekeeping.my bag was with me the entire time and the only time it was left alone was in my room, they stole a red NIXON watch from my bag that was brand new.I never pulled it out and never thought the hotel would say they are not responsible when they are hiring thieves.Juat be careful coming to this place, lock your stuff up cause they have sticky hands.
Update: they refunded the money within 48 hours of me communicating the issue, but everyone pay attention to your account because if I did not call them they would’ve had that $100!The room was nice everything was clean but to get charged for valet parking and we flew in and took Ubers the entire weekend is not acceptable. We never had a vehicle in New Orleans and was charged $100 for valet parking for 2 nights. Are they allowing people to say random room numbers when checking in there vehicles without proper verification? Will update once they respond in “72 hours” but this is completely ridiculous! If I didn’t check my statements I would be out of $100 I wonder how many other people have experienced this!
Let me tell you. I attempted to make reservations for 8 rooms and the 3rd party company didn't process the reservations. So instantly I think, omg I have a bunch of staff that need to stay there. I forgot the young lady's name but she was so helpful. She honored the reservation quote and was real kind throughout the whole process. I wish I could have remembered her name. But she was light skinned with blonde hair and pretty blue nails. She left a positive impression and I will be using this hotel EVERY TIME I need to book a hotel in New Orleans!!!
