Not just limited to sno-balls, this restaurant offers a full menu as well! My daughter and I visited this place on a Tuesday afternoon in July 2019 for sno-balls. They were tasty and the only downside was that we didn't anticipate enjoying a full meal here. The service was extremely friendly and our sno-balls were served promptly. It is located in a residential neighborhood, but we were able to find parking nearby. K... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Red Rooster:
I ordered the chicken wing plate with red beans and bark and huh yakamein. Unfortunately, the yakamein was very salty, which overshadowed the other flavors. The chicken wings were three drumsticks instead of three full wings. The red beans were alright, but seemed to be missing something in terms of taste. However, I was hungry so it was still satisfying. Despite my disappointment with the food, the customer service... View all feedback.
I am not from New Orleans and it was my first time at Red Rooster. The service was excellent, displaying the finest of southern hospitality. I indulged in a variety of items on the menu. I ordered two Mardi Gras and Strawberry snowballs with condensed milk, which were both delicious and generously portioned. The Fried fish I ordered was perfectly seasoned, fried to perfection, and had a juicy texture with a satisfying crunch. The dish came with a Hawaiian roll, making it a delightful combination. The Double cheese burger combo, fully dressed with a side of French fries, was another highlight. The burger was flavorful, and the toppings were well-placed, enhancing the overall taste. The presentation was top-notch. Lastly, I tried the shrimp dish, which was well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and not overdone. The only critique I have is that there were too many noodles in the broth, overpowering the dish. I would prefer less noodles next time. Overall, I highly recommend trying Red Rooster as you will definitely get value for your money.
We ordered the pork and shrimp yakamein, and it was delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced with a good amount of saltiness.

I will give this place another try, as every business has its off days.
This restaurant is a hidden gem, serving delicious Nachos and Fries along with other snacks. The service is quick and the staff is friendly.
