We came here for a birthday celebration and were glad we made a reservation because it was very busy on a Friday night! They have a good selection of wines by the glass and a long list of bottles to choose from. We also ordered some food including brussels sprouts, croquettes, and the pastrami sandwich, which was our favorite. Our server was knowledgeable about the wines and was able to answer our questions. What Max Mustermann doesn't like about Pluck Wine Bar Restaurant:
Unfortunately there was a problem with the payment. At first I didn't pay attention to the amount in detail and only did a quick calculation after signing the receipt and realized that around 44 USD was too much on the bill. I then told the waiter who assured me that the overcharged amount would be refunded to me. But NO refund on my bankaccount. It's a shame that the experience in the restaurant is massively spoiled... This culinary experience was exactly what I wanted to start with delicious, wet and dessert, was also phenomenal! everything was consistent and delicious! very nice staff!
Pluck offers artisanal meals along with a thoughtfully curated wine list making this fine place to dine. The restaurant has a charming patio tucked away in a private courtyard. We had a very enjoyable meal from apps to dessert. Prices are affordable and service was wonderful.
Cute little place with good wine. We enjoyed the chocolate mousse. Only complaint would be the service was okay, but felt like they were rushing us to finish up the entire time even though there was no one waiting and it wasn't close to closing time.
Frog legs are amazing in real life too. Pairing with excellent medium white from Spain, over the top. The Pluck It steak delicious with the mushroom lasagna and glass of red Mencia. You can get bread pudding anywhere in New Orleans and there's several places where you can get good bread pudding. But great bread pudding there's just a few and this is one of them.
Really great pricing for the style of this place. A steak for $22 is almost unheard of, and it was really, really delicious. The atmosphere was great, a little small and cozy, but spread out enough that it doesn't feel crowded or clustered. Really clean. Drinks were amazing, with a really great wine list. Waiter was kind and had great recommendations. Came here with a really large party, and they handled it very well. Would love to come here again with less than a handful of people for a more intimate experience, but would recommend it for date night, girls' nights, or even a wine connoisseur looking for a nice afternoon/evening drink.
