Ordered three rolls for delivery through Uber and all were delicious! The price is right and quality . The mango roll (mango, crab, salmon) was my favorite but the eel roll and special crunchy roll were also very tasty. View all feedback.
What Alex doesn't like about Mikimoto:
I'd had Mikimoto before, but went last night for the first time in person with my partner. As much as I want to like it, the sushi was warm and did not taste fresh at all. Flavor was not really there and did not correlate well to their pricing. Drink selection was also quite weak and they didn't have limes ?? I'd recommend any other sushi place in the city. 2/10 service was mediocre. View all feedback.
I love this food ? so much , everything it’s great to me… it’s small place but that’s a plus you feel like in a private place lol less noise, less everything, i can tell they keep consistent… love itParking: Small parking lotDietary restrictions: Just let them know about your diet or restrictions
The vegan offerings are adequate but not terribly imaginative. The service is great. They have a drive-thru, which is novel for a sushi restaurant.Food: 3/5
We dined in and the sushi was great! Our server also had excellent recommendations bc I was indecisive.Food: 5/5
Atmosphere isn't all that. The place is clean and tidy. The service feels home town and small even though its in the big city. Waitress, like a classic southern woman, called everyone baby ?. Waitress was attentive and kind. Food quality is EXCELLENT.Food: 5/5
I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN.I have never been so insulted in my life!I been here before 2/3yrs ago and the food was ok so I decided to try it again since we were in the area.As soon as we walked in she said You know this is sushi. It 's a sushi restaurant. It 's Japanese .We were a bit confused as to why she kept repeating this when it clearly says Mikimoto Japanese Restaurant on the front and sides of the building. When I had time to think about it....I knew why. I told her that what she did was insulting and I 'm sure she didn 't do this to the other people who were seated. This was an ignorant, stereotypical racist move on the waitress part to assume how I look equated me being ignored or not belonging.I 'm am very disappointed. We, of course left the restaurant without ordering. Response to owner No, we did not have a confused look on our faces. We walked in laughing and talking. The first time she said it, we said ok then she just kept repeating herself as though we weren 't in the right place and we didn 't belong. It says the name/type of restaurant clear as day on the building. You say we but you may not have not treated us differently due to race, ethnicity, or appearance but she certainly did. Luckily, this does not happen to me often but I 'm not unfamiliar with this treatment. I do recognize it when it happens and gaslighting me and saying it didn 't happened when you were not there to witness or intercept is not the way to go as a OWNER/MANAGEMENT.
