Don't miss out on Galliano! The food and service are exceptional, with a classy yet casual atmosphere. We had a large group visiting from out of town, and we truly enjoyed our experience at Galliano! I ordered the pasta dish, which was fantastic. My friends raved about the pork chop, and they claimed the gumbo might be the best I’ve ever had in New Orleans. View all feedback.

We were really looking forward to dining at Galliano after having an "amazing" experience at its sister restaurant, Rebirth, the night before. Unfortunately, both the food and service were just average. We enjoyed our appetizers of chargrilled oysters and Arancini. For our main course, we ordered the Seafood Lafourche. The barbecue shrimp were overcooked and quite tough; we couldn't finish one of the three served. Th... View all feedback.
Complimentary corn bread was delicious! Service was amazing! Smoked Old Fashion was magnificent! Really enjoyed the dinner and atmosphere as well as the service.
I was nervous after reading the last review but I got pork chop and quality was A plus. Excellent with a surprise stuffed inside (not seafood). Cocktails were excellent too the friendliest staff. If you don’t want to set a reservation you can order food from the bar. I was traveling alone felt welcome … not awkward at all. All in all, it was worth it.
One of the best meals we have ever had! Start with a Sazerach cocktail. Make sure to have the gumbo and fried alligator. The sauces are superb. The bread pudding with ice cream is truly decadent.
Wow!!!! Fantastic food, atmosphere and service!!! The pork chops and the grilled romaine fried oyster salad I will have dreams about for years : . Fantastic!!!!
Not as many places are open Tuesday evenings so I felt good previewing the menu and previous reviews for this place when I booked with OpenTable. *For out of towners like myself, you have to present your vaccination card at most all restaurants. We were surprised but luckily had ours. A 6 pm reservation worked out perfectly as it wasn't that busy yet, just a busy bar and a few tables seated. We were seated at a table in the back which we prefer for people watching. Our waitress was knowledgeable and always appeared in a timely manner. Food and drinks came at perfectly appropriate intervals as well. We tried the alligator appetizer, which came with a tangy red sauce which was delicious (ask for it on the side if you're not sure about it), and two slices of French bread with a Spanish olive/vinegar-y flavor of chopped olives and tomatoes on top. My husband had the sparkling cranberry drink and I had the rougaroux which we shared. Both tasty. We ate the filet mignon and crawfish pasta Monica. While there were bits of crawfish here and there, I felt there could have been more. It was more heavily just a pasta dish. The sauce was creamy and flavorful. We both felt the filet grilled and brought out on a skillet like that is unnecessary. It will continue to cook while on the skillet, in case you prefer yours a specific way. We prefer the traditional filet on a plate without all the extra grill element, so it has time to rest. For a nice dinner out with a lovely atmosphere and great drinks and service, this place is a good one.
