Dine in or take-out.)Vegetarian options: Tofu and vegetable broth available. View all feedback.
What Dennis H doesn't like about Eat-well Food Mart:
Yes, the Bahn-mi and pho burrito were tasty, but we had to eat them at home because the area this market is located, is pretty bad. There were countless people shuffling up the stairs into the shop, pestering the coworkers and just making a scene. There was no toilet paper or soap in the bathroom so one of the guys behind the counter gave me a roll off the shelf so I could hand it to my partner. If you absolutely mus... View all feedback.
For the adventurous. A no frills, just good food within a food mart/ liquor store. We took a street car straight to this spot which added to the experience. Ordered a Shrimp PoBoy, Combo Yakamein and eggrolls. All were delicious and would highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Bring cash, there is a 3.5 surcharge for using cards. The yakamein was very good! The food is good there, prices are a bit high but not as high as in the French Quarter. The staff is friendly. It's a hole in the wall that I think Anthony Bourdain would have tried.Vegetarian options: Tofu pho, tofu Bahn MI and tofu yakamein. Maybe be made with a meat based broth, not sure.

If you absolutely must have Vietnamese while in this area, yes the food was good, but the safety and sanitation of the area was undeniably questionable.
Got the yakamein. Soooo darn good!!!! They have a variety of unique beverages here, too.Food: 5/5
The bo hue broth is absolutely phenomenal. Sour, hot, spicy, and clear. Doesn't even need anything added.Food: 5/5
