What Nikki B doesn't like about Cut Rate Package Liquor Stores:
Rouses is the primary grocery store in the area. This little market is just down the street from me so it's convenient to pop in and pick up what I need. The selection is limited but you can find the essentials. The aisles are narrow and sometimes the line to check out can be long. Some cashiers are friendly, others aren't. Just depends on the day. I'm not sure how many New Orleans residents actually live in the French Quarter. Yet, as I walked around, I did find stores needed for day to day life such as Mary's Ace Hardware and this Rouses Market among others.
