Was Yvonne M at Costera a mag?
This was my second visit to Costera and it was just as incredible as the first time. After parading all day, we walked over for a drink and some appetizers. It was probably after 4pm and we sat at the bar. We indulged, to say the least. A delicous beet salad, roasted brocolini, patatas bravas and the highlight of my day was the Grilled sourdough w/ boquerones and green olives. Great meal, great drinks. This restauran... What Cassidy Mabou dislikes about Costera:
The food was excellent! Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. We were a group of four, and our server was so inattentive that it took us over two hours to place two rounds of drinks during our meal. I could continue discussing the poor service, but this restaurant has already taken up enough of my time tonight. View all feedback.
Always an outstanding experience! This is our favorite restaurant in New Orleans. During our recent visit, we tried the paella, which is simply beyond words; the depth of flavors is absolutely remarkable. We also enjoyed the fish a la plancha, which has become a staple for us. This time, it was a generous serving of redfish accompanied by fresh vegetables. The new cheesecake dessert with orange glaze is divine—light, fluffy, and not overly rich. I’d return just for this dessert alone! The portions are always generous, even with the tapas. We love coming here!
I had an amazing experience at the restaurant. I went with a few friends during my visit, and every dish we tried was spot on. It's a tapas-style place, so you share the food, and it arrives from the kitchen as it's prepared. The menu is diverse, with plenty of seafood options. Among the dishes we ordered were Blistered Shishito Peppers with Arbequina oil and Maldon salt (perfect for snacking, but be warned that one in ten peppers is spicy) and Charred Romaine with Roasted Fall Vegetables and Buttermilk Dressing (absolutely delicious).
Every dish we ordered was outstanding. I'm already looking forward to getting hungry again so I can relive the experience. Our server, Charles, truly elevated our dinner, making it an unforgettable experience.
We came with a party of six and ordered every appetizer (some twice) along with the paella for three. Everything was absolutely fantastic and the service was spot on. Highly recommend!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
