Coco Hut - New Orleans

Presentation was on point, very colorful food and flavors meshed well together. A friend bought it for me because as always, he was bragging on the food. From my understanding, it’s a healthy spin on the food but the rice and shrimp weren’t as flavorful without the spicy sauce. The salad was plentiful and really good..I could taste the freshness. I drizzled ranch on the food and it gave it life, no lie. I’ll definitely return and try something else. I recommend!

The staff is very sweet and attentive. The prices are decent. We had two jerk chicken plates and two drinks it was about 35 bucks. The chicken was flavorful but soooooooo spicy even my rice! Slightly overwhelming but it could have been just one of them days. More bones than chicken too but can't win them all. But overall a place I would say check out!

I can only review Coco Hut based on the food, as a friend purchased it and delivered it to me. I had the jerk chicken plate with rice, plantains, a salad, and what looked to be cabbage. The plate was pretty full and visually appealing in its colors. However, the only the was seasoned with flavor was the salad. I am not sure if I am willing to visit again, and can't recommend Coco Hut as of the dish we had and couldn't finish due to the blandness.

So delicious. I'm looking forward to being a regular. Try the cane juice, it's amazing. I ordred the whole red snapper meal and Jerk mussels. The plantains were some of the best I've ever had. For more reviews follow my IG @krystles.kitchen
