Fantastic everywhere. long line to lunch, but had a great chat with the oyster bucket for a nice local note during the waiting. all staff friendly and welcoming. special praise for him and the entire kitchen staff, especially the woman who sprinkles the oysters in the back, threw the kitchen next to the bathrooms. be sure to say hello to her and also to tap her. all work hard! waitress also excellent. No frills here, just eat good. oysters were large, tasteful and all fried products are gluten-free, which is rare. oyster stew is simple, classic and the best I had. go with a positive setting and meet some friendly locals. if they want to frills, they stay in the fq and pay much more, but the seafood will not be so fresh or so good. here is a must! next time will have to try an Italian, maybe.

I Loved the fact it has been here since 1905. The soft shelled crab as well as all their fried seafood is gluten free. How fantastic is that? It's absolutely delicious too. Thank you for having such wonderful staff and great food and traditions. That is what New Orleans is all about. Xoxo
