I ordered the daily special of fried chicken battered with their house seasoning. Chicken skin was crispy but not brittle just perfect. Meat juicy and might be the best fried chicken I have had in the city. Sides very good pastalaya to die for and very solid corn. I recommend calling in your order it is what most people do so you’d have to wait a little long if you walk up.

Fish, gumbo, cabbage, Caesar salad, pasta salad, grilled chicken, red beans rice, and some ginger, pineapple lemonade. Everything was delicious. She was very accommodating and the vibe was historic and elegant! Looking forward to the opportunity to support she and her family business again in the future.
