My wife and I had a great time here on 4/19/23. Our server was amazing, and the vibe was pure Tiki. The spam musubi was delicious, as were the fries. The drinks were refreshing and fun.

Simply the best tiki bar in Louisiana and one of the best in the US if not the world. I am also a big fan of Beachbum Berry 's books, articles and tiki mugs. An essential watering hole in NOLA whether you are a tiki bar enthusiast or not. "Food: 5/5

Three of us stopped in around 8:30 PM for drinks. The drinks are fantastic (even the non- alcohol ones). The staff is friendly and efficient. We will be back next time in town and try their food. The bar was busy, but they offered a table which we accepted.

My girlfriend and I tried to come in for a drink. We wanted to sit at the bar, which was full. We understand. We waited for a couple to leave. We were then told that the seats were reserved. At the bar. We waited for a guy we made friends with the leave. We were also not allowed to sit there. I'm sure the drinks are good but as excited as I was, I was not about to try them.

I cannot comment on the atmosphere since we did takeout, but I can say I do not understand the hype. The food was mediocre at best. I was excited to be able to do a take out beverage, as I was looking forward to trying something on their drink menu, but when I took a sip, all I could taste was alcohol. It was so packed with alcohol, I didn’t get any flavors in the drink, just burning alcohol. The whole experience was disappointing aside from the hostess who took our order. She was lovely and accommodating, and the food came quickly and piping hot. I just do not understand the rave reviews about the great food and drinks. It was a waste of money in my opinion. There are so many better options for food in this area.
